In my opinion, nothing is more relaxing and enjoyable than spending a day fishing with friends. The adrenaline rush I get when a fish hits my lure is one of the best feelings in the world. I simply love fishing, it’s my favorite hobby.

Making lures in my spare time is my new hobby. I made a bunch of lures over the past six months, for only pennies each. Lures cost $2-$15, so I saved a lot of money by making lures myself. I even sold some at a rummage sale I had, and made over $20 from them.

Making fishing lures is my second favorite hobby, aside from fishing with them. It keeps me involved with fishing off the water. It is especially great to do in winter time.

I would have to say my favorite part of making the lures myself, is the good feeling I get when I catch a fish with one I made. I also enjoy the reaction my buddies give me when they see my lures. They are extremely impressed, and ask to borrow them all the time when I’m fishing. Almost all the lures in my tackle box are ones that I created.
